Description
Space crabs live in huge colonies consisting of hundreds. You can usually find them inhabiting asteroid belts and abandoned space stations. Space has, over time, crafted the crabs with a very tough exoskeleton. Each crab has a very strong shell that can withstand great pressure and temperature. Every crab has its own inner environment, and can propel itself though space. The crabs are scavengers that live on a diet of space algae, microbes, and cosmic particles.

The crabs pincers are deadly and accurate. When the crabs successfully hit they ignore the first 2 levels of armor.
- Combat:
Space crabs are very heavy and have extremely sharp legs. When they attack the crabs jolt themselves forward slamming into their enemy. Due to the crabs shear weight and size, they can do tremendous damage together.
When the space crabs hit with their claws the GM can decide if the crabs destroy armor or shields. The GM can rule that the players armor has sustained critical damage, rendering part of it useless.
- Interaction:
Space crabs are simple minded creatures that survive in space, creating colonies of spawn. Unless provoked or in spawning season the crabs are harmless and easy tempered.
- Use:
These crabs usually infest space stations, abandoned space ships, asteroid belts, and low gravity planets. When they find a home, they settle in and spread quickly. Space crabs are scavengers and tend to not attack unless provoked.
During spawning season there are crabs everywhere. The GM can add an additional 6 crabs to the combat.
- Loot:
For smaller colonies the group might find 1d6 cyphers. In larger colonies 1d4 artifacts, 1d6 cyphers, and 1d10 oddities.
