I like this. It makes me think of a slight variation – a Kinetic-Temporal Shunt that literally absorbs kinetic energy and converts it into temporal energy that sends you into the future (by 1 round per point). Makes for some fun out of combat uses – jumping off that cliff because you know the impact you can survive by allowing yourself to be sent into the future 😛
